Welcome to Serendipity. This 1983 Mariner Houseboat has been lovingly renovated to make sure it has all the amenities any land loving home would have. The galley (kitchen) has been completely renovated to include marble countertops and custom cherry cabinets. Appliances include fridge and freezer drawers, dishwasher drawer and wall oven. All appliances including water heater and water pump have been replaced; as well as new Bosch 300 series clothes washer and Asko 1754 / Butterfly dryer have been installed. The head (bathroom) has also gone through a complete transformation. The vessel has one stateroom (bedroom) and a flexible loft space that can be used as a bedroom or work from home office space. The large rooftop deck is a great place to host your next dinner party or have a relaxing evening looking at sunsets and the Washington Monument. The rooftop deck can be accessed with custom liftable steps over the large open shower. The roof and skylights were replaced in 2018, and the windows and siding were replaced in 2019. The vessel contains a 75 gallon fresh water tank, a 100 gallon black water tank and energy efficient mini-split units for comfortable energy efficient living! Gangplank Marina amenities include: Boat Dock/Slip, Common Grounds, Grills and Events barge, Concierge, Gated Community, Laundry Facilities, Meeting Room, Picnic Area, and Security. Gangplank Marina is the largest liveaboard community on the East Coast. In the shadow of The Wharf you have everything in your backyard, from world-class restaurants to multiple entertainment venues, and now opened the new location of Politics and Prose bookstore. Entertainment and shopping are certainly not lacking, and people-watching is considered a hobby.
